What started as late-night conversations about something missing in Toronto's nightlife grew into a well-loved community in the city’s house music scene. Lovely People is a community-driven events company creating high-energy experiences, from packed dance floors to unique gatherings like Funk & Flow. Toronto’s nightlife wasn’t giving us what we wanted, so we decided to do it ourselves.

This Pride campaign celebrated inclusivity and strengthened the partnership between MEC and The North Face by connecting with the LGBTQ+ community in meaningful ways. The initiative featured artist-designed Base Camp Duffels, transformed MEC stores into interactive Pride hubs, and amplified its reach through engaging social media content. With a focus on authentic messaging and social impact, the campaign drove customer engagement, enhanced brand visibility, and raised funds for the Canadian Centre for Gender and Sexual Diversity (CCGSD)
